Side Puller Beads – Puller Beads for Side Puller System

MAP Side Puller Beads – neat finishing for your puller elastic

MAP Side Puller Beads are soft, strong rubber pull beads for finishing a side puller system in an elastic top kit. The bead provides grip when pulling extra elastic from the top kit during the fight, while also helping to keep the knot neatly tucked away.

The durable rubber is suitable for repeated use on the bank. Thanks to the recess, the knot can be pulled into the bead, keeping the end of the elastic neat and protected. Use the variant selector to choose the version that matches the strength and diameter of your top kit elastic.

Frequently asked questions

Where do I place the Side Puller Bead?

The bead goes on the end of the elastic at the side opening of the top kit. After fitting it, tie a knot in the elastic and pull it into the recess in the bead.

Which version do I need?

Choose the bead based on the diameter and strength of the elastic used. A more compact bead is generally sufficient for lighter elastic, while heavier carp elastics require more grip. Check the current options in the variant selector.

Can I also use these beads for a Dacron connector?

Yes. MAP also describes them as a component for a homemade Dacron connector: the bead can be pulled over the connecting knot for a neat, compact finish.
