Parabolix Pro Tips – Feeder Tips

MAP Parabolix Pro Tips

The MAP Parabolix Pro Tips are individual spare and replacement tips for short Parabolix and Extremis feeder rods. They retain the sensitive bite detection these rod ranges were developed for and are suitable for targeted fishing for silverfish and carp with light to medium feeders.

The tips are approximately 53 cm long and fit the 10 ft and 11 ft rods from the compatible Parabolix and Extremis series. Always check the exact rod model before ordering; this compatibility indication does not automatically apply to longer versions or other MAP series.

Key features

• Individual quivertip for compatible MAP rods
• Suitable as a spare or replacement tip
• Sensitive bite detection for commercial and natural waters
• Approximate length of 53 cm
• Compatible with 10 ft and 11 ft Parabolix and Extremis rods

Which tip should you choose?

Choose a more sensitive tip for lighter feeders, calm water and cautious bites. In stronger wind, current or when using a heavier feeder, a stiffer tip generally provides a steadier and easier-to-read indication. View the current tip strengths in the product selector and always observe your rod's casting weight.

Frequently asked questions

Will this tip fit a 12 ft MAP Parabolix rod?

The stated compatibility applies to 10 ft and 11 ft Parabolix and Extremis rods. For a 12 ft rod, only order a tip that MAP expressly specifies for that particular model.

How do I choose the right sensitivity?

Consider the feeder weight, the amount of wind and current, and how cautious the bites are. The lightest tip that remains stable in the conditions usually provides the clearest bite detection.

Can a different tip increase the maximum casting weight?

No. The maximum casting weight is determined by the entire rod construction. A stiffer quivertip does not change that limit and must be used within the rod's specifications.
