Description
The Korum Butt Cup securely holds the butt section of your rod in place when fishing with the rod tip held high to keep as much line as possible out of the water. The deep holder limits unwanted movement during a powerful bite and provides the rod with a clear, secure support point.
Thanks to its strong brass thread, you can use the Butt Cup on a compatible bankstick, rod pod or tripod. A rubber locking ring helps secure the support correctly, while the drainage hole prevents rainwater or splash water from remaining in the holder. The compact external dimensions are 5.5 × 5.5 × 11.5 cm.
For a freestanding river setup, you can combine this support with the Korum Progress Compact River Tripod.

Frequently asked questions
Why should I use a butt cup with rods positioned high?
At a steep rod angle, the butt section can shift more easily. The deep cup encloses the end of the butt section and helps keep the rod in place during a powerful bite.
Can I mount this support on a tripod?
Yes. Korum states that the Butt Cup can be used with rod pods, tripods and banksticks, provided the fitting is compatible with the brass thread.
What is the drainage hole for?
The drainage hole allows rainwater or splash water to run out of the cup, preventing water from collecting around the butt section in wet conditions.
