Banded Hair Rigs Barbed – 10 and 38 cm Ready-Tied Hooklengths with Bait Band and Barbed

The Korum Banded Hair Rigs Barbed are ready-to-use hair rigs for anglers targeting larger, stronger fish with pellets, wafters or other round hookbaits. The bait is attached using an integrated bait band, allowing it to be presented freely from the hook while keeping the hook point fully exposed.

For these rigs, Korum combines a powerful barbed hook, a relatively strong hooklength and a special durable bait band. According to the manufacturer, this band performs better than traditional latex bands. This makes the rig reliable during casting and when playing larger fish. Each pack contains eight pre-tied hooklengths ready to use.

Frequently asked questions

Which bait fits in the bait band?

The bait band is particularly suitable for pellets, dumbells, wafters and similar round or compact hookbaits. Choose a bait size that sits securely in the band without stretching it unnecessarily.

Why use a bait band on a hair?

Because the bait is presented alongside the hook, the hook point remains exposed. The fish takes the bait naturally, allowing the hook to turn and take hold more easily.

When should I choose the barbed version?

A barbed hook can provide extra hold while playing a fish. Use this model only where the fishery and local regulations permit barbed hooks.

Are these rigs suitable for strong fish?

Yes. Korum developed this series specifically with larger line diameters and stronger hooks for larger fish. Always check that the chosen rig matches your main line, rod, drag setting and the conditions at the water.
