ZERO 400 SKY POWER TOP 5.8mm - 1.80m – Top Kit (1-piece)

Guru Zero 400 Sky Power Top 5.8mm: strong one-piece top kit for shallow fishing

The Guru Zero 400 Sky Power Top 5.8mm is a strong, stiff one-piece top kit for shallow fishing on commercial fisheries. The Sky finish helps the kit stand out less against the sky, while the 1.80-metre length supports quick striking and efficient netting.

The Zero400 carbon construction has been developed to balance strength, stiffness and control. The 5.8 mm internal bore is suitable for elastic up to Red Hydrolastic 16–20, and the pre-fitted internal PTFE bush makes the top kit ready for further assembly. At 30 cm from the base, there is a double carbon wrap for fitting a side puller later; this is not pre-fitted. A traditional bung can be used at the bottom.

According to Guru, this top kit fits all pole fishing rods in the brand's range, including the Guru A-Class 13m Power Pole Pack and the Guru Aventus 700 13m Pole.

Frequently asked questions about the Zero 400 Sky Power Top

What type of fishing is this top kit intended for?
The kit has been developed primarily for shallow fishing on commercial fisheries, where a short, stiff top kit helps you react quickly to bites and net hooked fish efficiently.

Which elastic can I use?
Guru recommends the 5.8 mm internal bore for elastic up to Red Hydrolastic 16–20. Match your final choice to the target fish, the rig used and the conditions.

How do I use the Performance Point?
Align the marker at the bottom of the top kit with the Performance Point on the next pole section. This aligns the carbon spines for a stiffer action.
