Guru Competition Landing Net – fine-mesh landing net for hair rigs

The Guru Competition Landing Net is designed for match anglers who want to protect their hair rigs and catch carefully. The ultra-fine, soft mesh prevents hair-rigged bait from easily poking through and getting caught in the net, while the deep net shape provides plenty of room for silverfish, F1s and larger carp.

A strong aluminium frame and a durable moulded spreader block give the net the required strength without making it unnecessarily heavy. The high-quality thread features a rubber ring that helps prevent twisting on the landing net handle. The dark finish is unobtrusive underwater and helps keep fish calm.

Frequently asked question

Why is fine mesh suitable for fishing with a hair rig?
Fine-mesh net material reduces the chance of a boilie, pellet, bait band or Rapid Stop passing through the mesh. This makes the hair less likely to snag or become damaged during landing and unhooking.
