JL Float – Float (10 pieces)

The Guru JL Float is designed for deeper margins, deep water against islands and fishing with a short pole. In such swims, the bait needs to stay reliably in place, even when wind, undertow or feeding carp cause movement in the water. The elongated round body and fibreglass lower stem give this float the stability needed for this.

The 2 mm hollow plastic tip combines visibility with sufficient sensitivity and supports both hard bait and natural bait. The float is made from high-density foam, does not absorb water and features a deeply set, firmly glued side eye for intensive sessions targeting large fish.

Why choose the Guru JL Float?

• Developed for deeper margins, islands and short-pole fishing
• Elongated round body for a calm and stable presentation
• Strong fibreglass lower stem that remains stable in wind and flow
• Highly visible 2 mm hollow plastic tip
• Suitable for hard pellets, casters, corn, meat and other natural bait
• High-density foam that does not absorb water
• Deeply set and firmly glued side eye for extra durability

Secure the lower stem with suitable float silicone and shot the rig so that the bait sinks to the bottom in a controlled manner. On a deep margin, a compact shotting pattern helps keep the hook bait stable on the feed area.

Frequently asked questions

When should I choose the JL Float instead of a short-margin float?

The JL is particularly useful when the margin swim or water against an island is deeper. Its longer design gives the rig more stability and a better balance with the water depth.

Does this float remain stable when large fish are feeding on the feed area?

Yes. The round body and strong fibreglass lower stem are specifically designed to keep the float steady in wind, pull in the water and water displacement caused by feeding fish.

Which hook bait can I use with the Guru JL Float?

The 2 mm hollow tip supports hard pellets, casters, corn, meat and worms, among other options. This allows you to adapt the float for both a pellet approach and a natural-bait presentation.
