The Guru Hybrid Elastic is a hybrid elastic for pole fishing. Guru also calls this version Impulse Hybrid Solid Elastic. Its construction combines the characteristics of solid and hollow elastic, aiming to provide smooth stretch and even resistance when playing fish.
The elastic is made from high-quality latex that has been pre-treated with silicone. This smooth finish helps the elastic run freely through the top kit, even under high tension. The treatment reduces jerky movement, allowing the strain during a fish's run to be absorbed as smoothly and controllably as possible.
Match it to your fishing
The lighter versions are intended for refined fishing for smaller silverfish, while the more powerful versions offer greater resistance for larger carp. Match your choice to the fish species and conditions. You can find the diameters in the variant selector; the colour coding helps distinguish the different strengths.
Each pack contains 5 metres of elastic. This is a practical length if you want to set up several top kits with the same version. Determine in advance how much elastic you need per top kit and take the attachment into account.
