Description
Guru A-Class Rods (2026) – casting rods
The updated Guru A-Class casting rods combine accessible quality with the balanced action needed for modern feeder and float fishing. Within the range, you will find rods for compact and accurate work on commercials, versatile method feeder applications, powerful distance fishing, and pellet waggler or traditional float fishing. This allows you to choose the model that suits your venue, technique and desired casting range via the product options, without compromising control during the fight.
The blanks are constructed from 24/30T high-tensile carbon. This provides a good balance of power, responsiveness and weight: crisp enough for accurate casts, yet with a progressive action that helps absorb sudden lunges from fish. Anti-Tangle guides with stainless-steel frames and slim aluminium oxide ceramic rings promote smooth line flow and reduce friction when casting.
A TVS down-locking reel seat secures the reel firmly in place. The EVA foregrip, AA-grade cork Armlock handle and exclusive Guru EVA rear grip together provide comfort, grip and forearm support. The feeder rods are supplied with matching carbon quivertips; for replacements or additional sensitivity, you can also view the Guru A-Class and N-Gauge quivertips. If you would like to assemble the rod as a balanced set, the Guru A-Class reels are functionally matched to the same range.

Frequently asked questions
Which Guru A-Class rod suits my fishing?
Choose a compact feeder or pellet waggler model for short, accurate casts on commercials. For versatile fishing at medium range, an all-round method or waggler rod is suitable. On large waters, rivers and when using heavier feeders, choose a more powerful distance model. The product selector shows the available models and their casting range.
What is the advantage of the progressive action?
The blank builds up power gradually. This allows you to cast accurately while keeping the rod forgiving enough during the fight to absorb lunges and help reduce hook pulls.
Which quivertips are suitable for the feeder rods?
The feeder rods are supplied with tips tailored to their application. The more compact and all-round models use A-Class LT tips; the more powerful Distance and Power Distance models are matched with A-Class DT tips. When buying a separate spare tip, always check the type and fitting of your rod.
