Frequently asked questions
When should I choose an LWG hooklength?
This light hook pattern is a versatile choice when natural bait presentation is important, while still providing sufficient strength for larger silverfish and match-sized carp.
What is the purpose of the spade end on the hook?
With a spade-end hook, the line is tied directly around the hook shank. This creates a compact connection and neat presentation, especially for refined pole fishing.
Can I shorten this hooklength?
Yes. You can shorten the hooklength when your setup or the conditions require it. Then tie a new, even end loop and check that the line is undamaged.
