Pro Commercial Power Carp Eyed Barbless

The Gamakatsu Pro Commercial Power Carp Eyed Barbless is a powerful barbless eyed hook for carp and other hard-fighting fish. The round bend and carefully selected point length allow you to apply plenty of pressure during the fight. This makes the pattern suitable for active commercial fishing, where fish need to be landed quickly and under control.

The eye makes it easy to tie a hair rig for hard baits using a bait band, stopper or lasso. The offset, slightly curved point and PTFE coating ensure fast penetration, while the forged bends and larger wire diameter provide extra strength. You can use the Power Carp Eyed for both pole fishing and feeder fishing. For pole fishing, it pairs well with heavy top elastic and a puller system.

Frequently asked questions

When should I choose the Power Carp Eyed?

Choose this model when targeting strong carp or other powerful fish species and you want to apply plenty of controlled pressure during the fight. For a very delicate winter presentation, a lighter hook pattern is generally more suitable.

Why does this hook have an eye?

The eye makes it easy to tie a hair rig. This allows you to present hard baits using, for example, a bait band, stopper or lasso.

Can I use this hook with heavy top elastic?

Yes. The strong wire and forged bends make the hook suitable for heavy top elastic in combination with a puller system, provided the rest of your rig is also matched to that load.

Is this hook pattern only for pole fishing?

No. The Power Carp Eyed can be used for both pole fishing and feeder fishing. Match the hooklength and rig to the technique, fish size and conditions.
