Pro Commercial Allround Spade End Barbless 💰

The Gamakatsu Pro Commercial Allround Spade End Barbless is a versatile, barbless spade-end hook for commercial fisheries with mixed stocks. Based on the Gamakatsu 2260, it combines subtle bait presentation with enough strength to control an unexpected bonus fish during the fight.

The slightly curved point provides reliable hook hold, while the medium-heavy A1 Hard Wire offers a good balance between finesse and strength. The PTFE coating supports fast penetration and helps keep the hook point sharp for longer. You can use this pattern all year round with a wide range of hook baits, both for pole fishing and feeder fishing, targeting silverfish, F1s and medium-sized carp.

Frequently asked questions

When is the Allround Spade End a good choice?

This model is ideal when you do not know exactly which species or size of fish to expect at a commercial fishery. The hook is fine enough for silverfish and F1s, while still offering enough reserve strength for a medium-sized carp.

Can I use this hook all year round?

Yes. The all-round design is intended for use in different seasons and with a wide range of hook baits. Do adjust your hooklength and bait presentation to the fish activity and conditions.

What is the advantage of the medium-heavy wire?

The wire gauge keeps the presentation relatively subtle while providing more strength when a bonus fish is hooked. This makes the pattern a middle ground between an ultra-fine hook and a heavy carp hook.

Is this hook suitable for both pole fishing and feeder fishing?

Yes. The Allround Spade End can be used with both techniques for silverfish, F1s and medium-sized carp. Always choose a hooklength and other tackle that suit the fishing method you have chosen.
