Bream LS-1310 Barbed

The Gamakatsu Bream LS-1310 is a ready-to-use nylon hooklength for targeted bream fishing. The combination of a sharp, nickel-coloured spade-end hook and a 45 cm hooklength gives you a compact rig that is ready for immediate use with a pole or feeder.

A pre-tied loop is fitted at the end, allowing you to quickly attach the hooklength using a loop-to-loop connection or a suitable swivel. The hook has a barb for secure bait retention and hook hold. The hooklengths are neatly stored in a practical booklet and supplied in packs of ten.

Frequently asked questions

Why is a 45 cm hooklength suitable for bream?

This compact length keeps the hook bait controlled close to the rig while still allowing enough movement for a natural presentation. This makes it practical for both pole and feeder fishing.

How do I attach this hooklength?

Use the pre-tied end loop for a loop-to-loop connection or attach it to a suitable swivel. This allows you to change quickly at the waterside without retying.

What bait can I use with this hooklength?

Choose bait according to the hook size and conditions. Maggots, casters, worms, sweetcorn and small paste or pellet presentations are common choices for bream fishing.

Can I use this hooklength on every fishery?

Always check local regulations. The LS-1310 has a barb and is therefore not permitted on fisheries where only barbless hooks may be used.
