Ressort Special Pate – Bait Springs for Paste (15 Pieces)

The Fun Fishing Ressort Special Pate is a small bait spring that holds paste more firmly around the hook. This allows you to use softer paste that starts working more quickly in the water, without it slipping off the hook immediately during casting or sinking.

Slide the spring onto the hook via the hook point and position it against the eye or hook shank. Then knead the paste around the spring for extra grip. This accessory has been specially developed for fishing with paste and is supplied in packs of fifteen.

For a suitable, strong paste hook, you can use the Fun Fishing Pate 1b Barbless.

Frequently asked questions

How do I fit the Ressort Special Pate onto the hook?

Carefully slide the spring over the hook point towards the eye or hook shank. Then knead the paste around the spring so that it holds securely.

Why should I use a bait spring with paste?

The spring gives the paste more grip on the hook. This helps it stay in place better during casting and sinking, while still allowing you to use a softer mix.

Can I use softer paste with this spring?

Yes. The extra grip makes it possible to use less firm paste. Soft paste can start releasing more quickly in the water and create an attractive groundbait trail around the hook.

How many bait springs are in a pack?

A pack contains fifteen Fun Fishing Ressort Special Pate bait springs.
