Fun Fishing MP 400 Barbless
The Fun Fishing MP 400 Barbless is a strong, barbless eyed carp hook for targeting large, powerful fish. The short shank, wide rounded bend and inward-curved point give the hook a stable shape for pellet presentations and other compact baits. This makes the MP 400 particularly suitable for commercial fisheries, margin fishing and other venues where heavy tackle may be needed.
Fun Fishing uses carbon-enriched steel to combine great strength with relatively low weight. The anti-reflective Teflon coating keeps the hook discreet underwater and supports fast penetration when striking.

Frequently asked questions
WHAT FISHING IS THE MP 400 INTENDED FOR?
This model is designed for situations where plenty of strength is required, such as fishing for large carp on commercial fisheries or close to obstacles. Always match the rest of your rig to the venue and the fish you expect to catch.
WHAT IS THE ADVANTAGE OF THE WIDE HOOK BEND?
The wide, rounded shape provides space around the hook bait and helps the hook turn properly and take hold. This makes the MP 400 particularly useful with pellets and other compact baits.
WHEN SHOULD I CHOOSE A BARBLESS EYED HOOK?
An eyed hook is practical when tying your own hooklengths or hair rigs. The barbless version is suitable for waters where barbless fishing is required or preferred, and makes unhooking easier.
