Description
Fishing Things FT55 – strong and sensitive F1 pellet float
The Fishing Things FT55 is a finely finished pellet float for pole fishing for F1s, carp and other larger coarse fish. This compact model combines sensitive bite detection with the strength needed on ponds and commercial fisheries, where a float is regularly subjected to intensive use.
The 1.6 mm tip antenna is easy to read and helps you spot small bait movements quickly. This allows you to fish accurately with pellets and other compact hook baits. Attach the lower stem with suitable float silicone and distribute several short pieces along the line for a straight, reliable setup.

Frequently asked questions about the Fishing Things FT55
What type of fishing is the FT55 designed for?
The FT55 is primarily designed for pole fishing with pellets for F1s, carp and other larger coarse fish in ponds and commercial fisheries.
Why is a 1.6 mm antenna practical?
The antenna remains highly visible while clearly responding to small bait movements. This is useful when fish take cautiously or when the float lifts slightly.
How do I attach the FT55 to the line?
Use suitable float silicone on the lower stem. Distribute several short pieces along the stem so the float stays straight without pinching the line.
