Drennan AS Carp 2 – versatile float for F1 carp and carp

The Drennan AS Carp 2 was developed as an all-round float for commercial fisheries. Its balanced design combines good bite indication with sufficient stability and strength for fishing for F1 carp and carp. This makes it suitable for a wide range of baits, including maggots, casters, sweetcorn and soft pellets.

The resilient nickel-titanium stem helps the float remain stable and is less likely to bend permanently during intensive use. The buoyant balsa body is finished with a durable lacquer coating, while the micro-wrapped eye provides reliable line attachment. The interchangeable 1.5 mm Hi-Viz antenna also makes it easy to adapt visibility to the conditions.

This float was developed together with five-time world champion Alan Scotthorne and is hand-assembled in Drennan's own factories. For a different antenna colour or a spare, matching Drennan Hi-Viz Pole Float Tips are available. Attach the float securely to the line without damage using suitable float silicone tubing.
