Visi Wag 1 Float – Waggler Float

The Drennan Visi Wag 1 Float is a pre-loaded insert waggler for accurate float fishing on large stillwaters and for carp. The 5.75 mm thick body combines high buoyancy with a strong, consistent construction. The hollow 4 mm Hi-Viz antenna has contrasting colour bands, ensuring it remains clearly visible in changing light conditions.

The interchangeable base weights and fixed shotting pattern make quick adjustments easy. Combined with four float stops and a swivel float attachment, the Visi Wag 1 requires eight No. 8 shot on the line. The same setup remains usable when changing float sizes within the range. For the interchangeable mounting, you can use the Drennan Swivel Float Attachments.

Frequently asked questions

What type of fishing is the Visi Wag 1 intended for?

This waggler is suitable for large stillwaters and targeted carp fishing. Drennan also recommends it as a good choice when fishing slows down during the winter months.

How is the Drennan Visi Wag 1 shotted?

Drennan recommends four float stops, two on each side of a swivel float attachment, plus eight No. 8 shot on the line. This keeps the float interchangeable without having to change the entire shotting pattern each time.

What is the advantage of the hollow Hi-Viz antenna?

The hollow antenna is buoyant and has bright colour bands. This keeps it highly visible and clearly transmits subtle movements, even when the light and background change.
