Super Spade Micro Barbed – Spade End Hook with Barb 🎁

The Drennan Super Spade Micro Barbed is a strong spade-end hook for targeting larger fish. Its robust medium-long shank, forged construction and special hook bend inspire confidence when playing fish, while the micro barb helps secure both the bait and the hook hold.

This hook pattern excels when feeder fishing on rivers for barbel and chub. It is also suitable for robust bait presentations using, for example, meat or a large lobworm. Thanks to its inward-curved, chemically etched needle point, the hook penetrates quickly and holds reliably.

Frequently asked questions

What can I use the Drennan Super Spade Micro Barbed for?

This hook is particularly suitable for feeder fishing for hard-fighting fish, including barbel and chub. It is also a reliable pattern for other larger coarse fish.

Which bait works well with this hook?

The Super Spade is suitable for a wide range of baits. For a robust presentation, you can use meat, worms or a bunch of maggots, depending on the chosen hook size and fishing method.

What is the advantage of the micro barb?

The small barb helps keep the bait and hooked fish securely on the hook, while being more compact than a traditional large barb. Use it only where barbed hooks are permitted.
