The Drennan Diamond Crystal combines an almost unobtrusive Crystal® body with the stability and visibility you need when fishing with medium to large baits. The classic diamond shape is versatile in open water and makes this float suitable for pellets, sweetcorn, meat and other larger hookbaits.

The transparent, blown body is far less conspicuous to wary fish than a traditionally painted body. At the same time, it is extra strong: line and shot do not damage the material as they can with fragile balsa or foam bodies. The extra-long, semi-flexible fibreglass stem acts as a keel and helps the float settle quickly and remain stable.

Why does this float have a transparent body?

The clear body is less noticeable underwater than a painted float. This is especially useful when carp or other coarse fish are feeding cautiously.

Can I shot the antenna sensitively?

Yes. The 2.5 mm hollow tip is highly visible and buoyant, but can be heavily shotted for difficult conditions so that even cautious bites register clearly.
