Crystal Hooker Dibber Pole Rigs – Ready-made Rigs - 🎁

The Drennan Crystal Hooker Dibber Pole Rigs are fully pre-assembled rigs for fishing for carp, F1s and other hard-fighting silverfish in shallow water. The transparent Crystal Dibber casts little silhouette in the water, making it suitable for fishing at depths of around 20 cm to 1.2 metres, both in open water and along the bank or near an island.

Each rig is hand-tied, precisely shotted and supplied on a sturdy rig winder. The Hooker version features a Wide Gape Carp spade-end hook for bait placed directly on the hook, such as maggots, casters, worms, soft pellets, meat and sweetcorn. What does Hooker mean on this Crystal Dibber rig?

The Hooker version is designed for bait placed directly on the hook. For a pellet band or pushstop, choose a purpose-made Bandit or Pushstop rig.

How much line should I leave between the float and the pole tip?

In calm conditions, around 30 to 60 cm is often practical. In wind or when targeting wary fish, a longer line of up to around one metre can provide more distance between the pole tip and the baited spot.

Can I still adjust the shotting pattern?

Yes. First moisten the line, then carefully move the shot one at a time. This allows you to adjust the sinking speed without unnecessarily damaging the line.
