CARP METHOD SPIKE HOOK PLATE SYSTEM 4"

The Drennan Carp Method Spike Hook Plate System consists of hand-tied 10 cm Method hooklengths with a barbless Carp Method hook and an integrated bait spike. The strong XT mono line and short rig length are designed for Method feeder fishing for carp and F1s.

The bait spike makes it easy to mount mini boilies and semi-buoyant wafters quickly and neatly. Each hooklength is stored under slight tension on a Hook Plate, keeping the line straight and ready to use without kinks. The included identification sticker helps you distinguish between different hooklengths.

Frequently asked questions

What hook bait is the bait spike designed for?

The spike is particularly practical for mini boilies and wafters that are firm enough to be pushed directly onto the point. This allows you to change bait quickly without a bait band or stopper.

Why are the hooklengths supplied on a Hook Plate?

The plate keeps each short hooklength under slight tension. This keeps the mono straight and prevents kinks during storage and transport.

Can I store the Hook Plate in a hooklength box?

Yes. The plate is compatible with the Drennan 4″ and 6″ Hook Boxes and can also be stored in the Drennan Hook Book. Use the included sticker to easily identify the version.
