Marukyu Dumbell Wafters 6+8mm

Cresta Marukyu Dumbell Wafters 6+8 mm are lightly balanced hookbaits for method fishing. On the rig, they sink very slowly under the weight of the hook. This allows a fish to take the bait with little resistance, which is especially useful on heavily fished waters and during cold periods.

The tough yet soft dumbell structure stays securely on the hair and can be attached with a bait band or bayonet. Each pot contains wafters in 6 and 8 mm, allowing you to match the bait size to the hook and desired presentation. The hookbait is suitable for carp, bream, tench and F1 carp.

Would you like to mount the wafters with a bait band? The Captura Baits Bait Bands 3 mm are suitable for hookbaits of 6 and 8 mm.

Frequently asked questions

Why does the wafter sink differently with another hook?

The hook provides the weight that balances the wafter. A larger or heavier hook makes the bait sink faster than a smaller, lighter model. Always test the complete rig in the water.

Which size should I use for a subtle presentation?

The 6 mm dumbell is the most compact option. The 8 mm dumbell provides a larger, more pronounced bait presentation.

Does this hookbait stay on securely during casting?

Yes. The tough yet soft structure is designed to stay securely on a bait band or bayonet, even when casting with a method feeder.
