Linestoppers

The Cresta Linestoppers are compact rubber line stoppers with excellent grip on the fishing line. They are highly versatile for feeder, match and pole fishing rigs, and their discreet black colour keeps them unobtrusive in the setup.

Use the stopper as a soft buffer between a knot and a sliding feeder, swivel or other weight. This protects the knot from repeated contact during casting and retrieving. The stopper can also be used to keep a waggler or other sliding component in the desired position.

Thanks to their firm grip, the setting stays securely in place, while you can carefully move the stopper when you want to adjust the rig.

Key features

• Excellent grip on the line
• Protects knots from feeders and other weights
• Suitable for feeder, match and pole fishing rigs
• Also suitable for positioning wagglers
• Discreet black colour
• Quick and easy to fit into the rig

How do you fit a line stopper onto the line?

Thread the fishing line through the loop on which the stopper is pre-mounted, then gently slide the stopper from the loop onto the line. Pull without jerking to avoid putting unnecessary strain on the line.

When do you use the stopper as a buffer?

Place it before a knot when a free-running feeder, swivel or weight may come into contact with it while fishing. The soft stopper absorbs this contact and helps keep the knot intact.
