The Cresta Identity Ultra Pro Butt Protector is a short, lightweight carbon protective sleeve for the hand sections of a compatible Identity Ultra Pro pole. When fishing at shorter distances and using a rod section as the butt section, the protector helps close off the opening. This reduces the risk of dirt or sand getting inside the pole and protects the edge from damage caused by contact with your arm or elbow.
