Van Den Eynde Carpano 1kg is an exceptional protein-rich (without fishmeal!!) carp bait (and feed), ready to use as follows.

To achieve good results, a feeding spot should be established about 3 to 4 days before the planned fishing day so the carp learns to recognize this as new food.

On the first day, cast 15 to 20 balls of about 4 cm diameter. On the second day, 10 to 15 balls. To maintain the feeding spot, cast 10 Carpano balls per day or even every two days.

To use Van Den Eynde Carpano 1kg as bait, balls of 3 cm diameter are sufficient. These weigh about 20 grams; balls of 4 cm weigh about 40 grams. These are heavy enough to cast without lead.

Once you are at the feeding spot, gently tighten the line, set the casting rod so that the tip points directly at the feeding spot. Preferably keep the reel bail open so the carp faces as little resistance as possible.

With Van Den Eynde Carpano 1kg feed, you can make 50 balls of 4 cm diameter. You can calculate how much you need yourself. The best way to progressively moisten Carpano... A little water... knead, a little more water... knead, until the required consistency is achieved. Not too hard or too soft.

A Carpano bait ball does not fall apart and lasts more than 24 hours. To keep the bait ball securely on the hook during the cast, it’s best to first place a crust of bread, sized proportionally to the bait ball, in the bend of the hook and then knead the bait ball around it.

TIP: when fishing for very large specimens, you should make both the feed balls and bait balls larger.

You can also perfectly use Carpano as bait, but keep in mind its binding properties.
