Artificial bait

Imitation bait replicates natural bait such as sweetcorn, maggots, pellets or other groundbait particles. It can be used on its own or combined with real bait for coarse, feeder and carp fishing techniques, depending on the rig and target species.

Choose the shape, size, colour and buoyancy according to the desired presentation. Check whether the bait is sinking, neutral buoyant or floating, and match the hook, hair rig or bait band accordingly for a neat hook presentation.
