Elastic Cone

An elastic cone is used in a top kit to secure the pole fishing elastic at the rear or keep it under tension, depending on the system chosen. It allows the setup to be removed from the top kit for inspection and maintenance.

Choose a cone that matches the internal diameter of the top kit and the elastic setup used. Check the attachment method and ensure the component is secure but accessible. Inspect the knot, connector and tension each time you maintain the elastic.
