The Acolyte Ultra Float Rod float rod features an exceptionally slim high modulus carbon blank.
In combination with a compact float fishing reel, the Acolyte Ultra Float Rod tends to sit upright in the hand at an angle above the horizontal line, making it a pleasure to fish with all day.
The size of the monofilament is 2lb 8oz to 4lb+, with a diameter of 0.12 mm to 0.18 mm.
From the blank, you can see it in the light, you need to act on it, and we will see it if it stays in the float control.
However, the tip action is soft enough to act as a gentle shock absorber.
This allows ultralight leaders of less than 0.08 mm to be fished with confidence.
