The use of Sonubaits Spike'um Wafters has become synonymous with Method Feeder fishing, whether you are a competition angler, carp angler, or coarse angler simply enjoying a pleasant day by the water. The variety these hookbaits offer has proven incredibly effective for catching carp and other quality fish in many waters.
That said, Band'ums, as the name suggests, were developed precisely for that purpose: to be used with a bait band, an approach many anglers still prefer today. Due to demand for a 'softer wafter,' we wanted to introduce a Method hookbait suitable for this presentation style.
Sonubaits Spike'um Wafters were developed after extensive testing to ensure an effective Wafter that maintains its effectiveness as a wafter hookbait while being soft enough to prick or use with a bayonet, but not too soft, so they don’t easily come off during the cast or due to pesky small fish. Additionally, we ensured that Spike'ums remain wafter even after opening, the consistency we strive for in all our Method hookbaits.
