Sonubaits So Natural Sweet Skimmer Yellow

So Natural Sweet Skimmer has become a major favorite within our range of So Natural mixes without fish meal. This sweet biscuit mix is attractive to all quality fish, especially bream and skimmers with a sweet flavor in waters where rich mixes dominate. The delicious sweet caramel scent and flavor attract fish from further away.

Due to the increasing use of our natural mixes in continental Europe, our team of consultants, including Olivier Gielczynski (France) and Felix Scheuermann (Germany), felt that a yellow version of Sweet Skimmer would fit perfectly in the range. This yellow variant is suitable for many applications in Europe, where clear/yellow mixes are preferred by anglers excelling in coarse fishing in natural waters.

Like Sweet Skimmer and Sweet Skimmer Dark, Sonubaits Sweet Skimmer Yellow is a biscuit-rich mix with a fine texture and a sweet caramel scent and flavor. The yellow color stands out on the bottom, giving quality fish a focal point and an area to forage. Although the particles in Sweet Skimmer are heavier and have good binding properties, they create an attractive, fish-attracting cloud when sinking through the water column or rising through feeding fish, further enhancing the attraction.

Sonubaits So Natural Sweet Skimmer Dark

The Sonubaits So Natural Sweet Skimmer Dark is an incredibly popular mix within our premium fish meal-free groundbait range. It offers a sweet biscuit mix attractive to chub, bream, and all other high-quality coarse fish and has been responsible for some incredible catches in the UK and across Europe since its launch in early 2021.

Sonubaits So Natural Sweet Skimmer Dark was introduced as a complement to the So Natural range and follows a similar composition to the original Sweet Skimmer mix, but as the name suggests, it is darker in color and is perfect for clearer waters or when a dark groundbait is preferred.

With the revival of silverfish angling in natural locations and commercial fishing in winter, we decided it was time to produce four new groundbaits specifically for silverfish.

We developed this groundbait in collaboration with some of the best silverfish anglers in Great Britain, including Des Shipp, Lee Kerry, Steve Saunders, Mick Vials, Michael Buchwalder, and Will Freeman.

We took a fresh look at the market and decided to produce four new groundbaits that could all be mixed straight from the bag or combined with others from the range to create a custom groundbait for a specific day at a specific location.

The ability to mix them together was very important for all our anglers, as natural locations change and therefore the groundbait must change to suit the conditions and methods of the day.

To create a heavier mix for slower breakdown in deeper water, use So Natural River to strengthen the mix; for a darker mix with less bait, increase the amount of So Natural Black; for a more active, lighter mix, increase the amount of So Natural Lake; and for a sweeter mix with a higher food content, increase the amount of So Natural Bream—the possibilities are truly endless.

Sonubaits So Natural Deep Water 900g

Developed together with English internationals Lee Kerry, Kayleigh Dowd, Rory Jones, and Andrew Cranston. So Natural Deep Water was introduced in the So Natural range to compete with and surpass some salty, heavy mixes that have become incredibly popular on the natural circuit in Great Britain.

Extensively tested on many of Great Britain’s major canals, including Gloucester and New Junction, as well as numerous flowing locations such as the River Trent and Wye—and already breaking records along the way!

Sonubaits So Natural Deep Water is a versatile mix loved by roach, skimmers, bream, and hybrids, with a high salt content, a sweet biscuit and grain base, and plenty of binding power, allowing you to deliver your bait exactly where you want it in deep or flowing water.

Sonubaits So Natural Black

This dark mix is perfect for use on the rod or feeder on canals or in winter. It is a very fine groundbait with lots of finely ground and sieved hemp seed that creates a fairly slow-working and dormant groundbait with a low bait level that binds well. It can also be used to darken other So Natural Mixes.

This has been especially popular with canal anglers and has led to numerous competition wins on various canals in Great Britain and Europe.

Steve Saunders (England Under 18 manager) says: "This is a great mix for canals because it’s fine and doesn’t contain much bait, so you can precisely control what you put in it. It binds well, so whatever you mix with it, you can be sure that if you feed a ball, it goes to the bottom and carries the bait with it."

Sonubaits So Natural Bream

A golden groundbait, perfect for bream, skimmers, and hybrids. It can be mixed straight from the bag for use on a feeder or rod. It has a high bait content, including breadcrumbs, ground maize, molasses meal, and ground tiger nuts for sweetness.

It binds well and thus acts as a good carrier for other bait such as sweetcorn, casters, and chopped worms. It is a slow-working dormant mix that ensures it stays on the bottom.

A heavy mix with strong binding properties, making it perfect for use on the feeder or for river fishing. Being heavy ensures it goes straight to the bottom before breaking down. It is a slow-working, dormant mix ideal for carrying other bait, such as chopped worms and casters, to the bottom, or it can be added to other groundbaits to make them heavier and bind better for fishing in faster currents or deeper water.

Mick Vials (England Feeder Team) says: "So Natural River groundbait is one of my favorite groundbaits; I always carry it in the van. I like that I can add it to any groundbait, and it makes it heavier and binds better, meaning I can tailor my groundbait to the situation of the day."

"When used straight from the bag, it can be mixed into a very heavy groundbait that binds well, so it fits in easily and can be used to carry lots of chopped worms, but one of my favorite feeder skimmer mixes is 1/3 River, 1/3 Bream, and 1/3 soil, a nice heavy dark mix with enough bait for skimmers."

A very versatile groundbait that can be used both on the rod and feeder. It is quite active, especially when mixed on the dry side, ensuring continuous action. Perfect for all silverfish in lakes. When freshly mixed, the particles come easily out of the feeder, forming a good bait bed. With the addition of lots of hemp, coconut, and coriander, this is the perfect combination for roach and skimmers in natural lakes.

Lee Kerry says: "So Natural Lake is one of the most versatile groundbaits I use; it’s my first choice for fishing natural locations for skimmers, roach, and hybrids. It’s perfect for fishing up to about 1.80 meters deep; deeper than that, and I tend to mix it with So Natural River and soil to make it heavier and bind firmer."

Sonubaits So Natural Black Roach

This dark roach mix was designed by Des Shipp and Lee Kerry and is heavily based on hemp and coriander, two of the best ingredients for catching roach. It contains both finely ground hemp seed and a mix of coarser hemp seed for texture, so it is a great mix for summer or, when used in winter where a finer mix is needed, some of the larger hemp can be sieved out. Coriander is also one of the best-known ingredients for roach.
