Pêchemania is a search term anglers use when looking for information, experiences or equipment for their next fishing session. Advice from other anglers can be useful, but it remains important to assess recommendations against your water, technique and target species.
Start with how you fish
An angler on a commercial fishery has different requirements from someone fishing a canal or river. First consider casting distance, current, depth and the size of the expected fish. Only then should you choose your rod, line, float, feeder and hook.
Equipment for Pole Fishing
In pole fishing, everything revolves around control and a balanced rig. The float must carry the shot and bait correctly, the line must be strong enough without being unnecessarily thick, and the elastic must suit the target species. Accessories such as rollers and top rests also make a big difference on the bank.

Equipment for feeder fishing
When feeder fishing, casting weight, rod length and the right feeder tip are decisive. For short distances on still water, you can fish lighter. On flowing water or at greater distances, you need more power and stability. Also match the feeder, hooklength and hook to the bait being used.
You can find the current range in feeder equipment for lakes, canals and rivers.
Check advice before you buy
Online discussions provide inspiration, but always check the exact product specifications. Pay attention to sizes, connections and compatibility. A popular choice is not automatically the best choice for your circumstances.
Pêchemania as a starting point, not an endpoint
Those who find inspiration through Pêchemania can use that information to compare products more effectively. Carpshop24 then helps you search within the Pole Fishing and Feeder specialisms, with clear product information and current stock availability.
