The Guru Tungsten Olivettes are designed for use on rod fishing rigs and provide the weight of the floats in a single, neat, and condensed weight. By using a super-dense tungsten material, we have been able to create extra small but extremely dense weights that are significantly smaller than many other Olivettes on the market. This offers considerably less resistance than larger Olivettes, a better presentation, and is more discreet on the rig.

We have deliberately dulled the appearance of these Olivettes to minimize spooking fish in clear water. Instead of placing large amounts of shot on the line, which could damage the mainline material, the Guru Olivettes feature a soft protective central silicone sleeve that reduces any line damage, keeping the mainline in perfect condition.

Thanks to this inline design, the Olivettes sit completely straight on the line, which not only ensures a tangle-free bulk weight but also an optimal presentation. This design also means it is impossible for the Olivette to come off the line if it encounters a snag or a lost fish.

We have strategically produced the Olivettes in 0.25-gram increments, allowing you to choose the right Olivette weight that matches the size of the rod float you are using, plus a locking shot above and below the Olivette, along with the required droppers to perfectly rig the setup.
